The explainations aid with the technical aspects of the code.

If you are not already in the trade, it won’t be much help.

Definatley not for the “do-it-yourselfer” or for the “jack of all trades”.

It may give someone pause enough to hire a professional rather than attempting to do the work themselves.

Not a bad thing when it comes to electric work.

This book is very dense and heavy and the cover isn’t that strong. The 1 day shipping got the book to me in time to use it in my Electric code class, but the box and packing material used wasn’t strong enough to prevent a large crack in the spine and separation of the pages and cover. This is the first time I’ve had a bad shipment with Amazon. The book is still usable, but resale value is badly hurt.

This is the Bible of the electricians world. I’d rather read this, than a novel. Why? Because I’d rather learn how things work than a mindless story about Harry Potter or Twilight Vampires.

    but that’s just me.
